A head on camera angle was used to flatten the focal plane allowing for a wide open aperture and a fast enough shutter speed to freeze the subject. This sample growing along the waters edge in a sheltered cove was still swaying wildly in the mid day breeze. The shot was helped by pushing the film one stop to widen the possibility range for close up macros as well as extreme telephotos.
